the 997 911's are about 2 inches longer and 2 inches Wider than the old 996's.

the Best way is to Trade i your 996 for a 997.

and mine wont even have any seats in the Bcak cos I am Gettin the 2008 997 Porsche 911 GT2 all that there is in the Back is a Huge Roll Cage.

As another poster stated, engine size won't affect cabin size. There is marginally more room in a 997 than a 996S, but both are pretty cramped in the rear (not sure if the size difference can be felt in the back seat).
These seats are fine for little kids, but anyone over about the age of 5 will definitely feel cramped (not to mention the safety issue -- the back seat of a 911 isn't the best for kids).
As to the Targa, I believe there is actually more interior space since you have a small trunk space behind the glass, but the roof itself likely eats into headroom for the back occupants.

The 997 and 996 carreras are essentially identical in size on the inside. Rear leg room isnt practical for anyone but a kid.

and the 3.6 and 3.8L motors are the exact same exterior physical dimensions. They actually share almost all of their parts.

And linkin soldier, youre going to kill yourself with a GT2 (assuming youre not just lying, based on the fact you have linkin in your name) . Your lack of knowledge about cars is astonishing (the 997 GT2 doesnt have a cage stock), and the GT2 is more car than anyone without significant track time can handle.
