Do you mean how can you be faster or why is someone else faster? If you wish to be faster, try the SYLVAN Institute, or methods.

Most people learn really badly, but it would depend on what you're learning.
Being systematic about learning notations is helpful in mathematics as well as getting better number sense.
Seeing multiple explanations on the internet for the same topic helps me a lot in science.
the best tip is to try to figure out what you don't know and then plan what you have to do to learn it. After a while you get some systems down and that helps.
Like I need to read a book about it, or I need to practice 3-4 problems, or I need to make a list of all of the symbols and memorize them before rereading this....

Different people have different brains and different talents. If you practice doing something, you get good at it.
