No doubt I take the KC Royals. In one of your previous questions, you used one word that is perfect for this scenario -- GUMPTION!! This word is defined as boldness, and taking the initiative. The Royals are filled with young guys who just downright love the game (soria, butler, gordon, etc...). The White Sox -- not so much. They have a bunch of old guys who are just waiting for a new contract or their ticket out of the Windy City -- aka Dye, Pierzynski, Podsednik, Konerko, and pretty much every starter they have aside from Owens and Fields who are young guys that love the game. Teams filled with good young players usually do better than teams filled with oldies. Most young players have one of the most important things in baseball that most old guys do NOT have and that word is -- PASSION. Young guys play the game b/c they love it and can't get enough of it. However, MOST old guys play just for the money -- **cough cough** Roger Clemens **cough cough**. This is why the Royals will win this series. And getting off topic for a minute, this is why I get frustrated with my team, the Yankees. I've had enough with them trading their young guys and getting oldies. This is why I got so excited when they brought up guys like Hughes, Kennedy, and my boy Joba Chamberlain. OK I can just keep going on and on about this topic b/c this topic is a very in-depth topic. But I have taken enough of your time and I think I'm going to end it right there! =D

The Sox are going to save their energy for another 3 game sweep of the Tigers next weekend. How will it feel for Detroit when the team that beats them to eliminate them from post-season is the last place White Sox?
Sox will take 3 of 4.

Sorry Georgie, I'm still celebrating the DE-REK JE-TER home run. What was it you wanted to know? Oh the KC vs Whinny Sucks! The Sox are done. Stick a fork in 'um!! They will have one highlight film this season, Thome's 500th home run and that's all.

I think the White Sox will take 3 of 4 and be 4th place.
KC is 2-8 in their last 10
CHI is 5-5 in their last 10
Good luck to your Tigers.

I pick the Royals, they have both had bad years, but the Royals seem to be trying harder.
