Almost every border in existence today worldwide, was established through conquest and war. The fact that most of that is over now should be something we should all be glad of. We can choose one of two paths,we can either try to instigate more conflict over who has the right to what,as people like you seem to want,in which case we could easily end up just like the continent of Africa, constantly slaughtering each other over disputed borders. Or we can accept that what is done,is done, and move forward from here. I guess what I'm trying to say,is Do you realize you're an idiot?

What about South America or Central America? Do the countries there have a true claim to the continent? How about Australia? These lands may have been obtained through means you do not like to hear about but you should never judge historical matters through the filter of modern sensibilities. You have to look at historic events in context of the times.

In the evolution of any species it is the survival of the fittest. Just because many hundreds of years after the fact mankind has, in some cultures, evolved beyond that concept is no reason to criticize events that occurred during their development.

History is what it is. It is not for present or future generations to judge using modern sensibilities. It is just as inappropriate as bashing Cavemen for their lifestyles. It was the best they knew at the time. Any form of self-flagellation is utterly useless. Instead, it would be far more useful to celebrate how far mankind has come, (some of it anyway) than to attack the route it took.

Oh, so who does have true claim to the continent?

Were you smoking dope in history class? There was a couple of wars over this and guess what? WE WON.

Now I know that next you are going to say, "well it was never ours to fight over to begin with."

According to that reasoning, that means you would have to move millions of people out of South America and only let the people who can trace 100% of their bloodline back to the Incas or Aztecs or other natives because anyone with spanish genes according to you, has "no true claim" to that continent. Then you'll have to ressurect some Romans and move everyone out of western Europe and apologize to them. You would have to then take the British Isles and give them back to the Vikings and Barbarians who had it before Rome...

YOU ****.

Who can truly claim to be "native"? Certainly not the native American tribes, as they too are children of the Mongoloid tribes that came here from the Strait, as well as the Pre-Clovis settlers that came from Southern France during the Great Ice Age.

Noone is native to any land, ergo claims of nativity as necessitating taxation is moot.

ZZZzzzzzzzzzz.... Oh, excuse me. Yes, we do have a true claim to the USA, Canadians have a claim to Canada, and Mexicans have a claim to Mexico. The same can be said for every country in the world. Things don't remain static.
