Depends, some women are happy just to stay at home and take charge with the family affairs, bringing up a family etc etc.

Some would like to go out into the wicked world and make their own contributions to the economy.

Personally, for me, I work too and full-time...I want to be an individual, earning my own money and not feel too guilty in spending it in how i wish to spend it too, some sense of freedom, my own social group of friends outside the home and family, my own interests....that doesnt mean that I dont contribute too towards my own family, of which most importantly comes first to me, we want some-one to respect us for the never-ending work that we do NOT only in the home and for the family but outside too.

Its her expression of who she is and what she wants to express in her life. She is an individual and hence wants to express her individuality, it can be a job, a hobby, it can be her studies, or a job. We all express ourselves in some way or other. She is just human just like a man. Can a man be suppressed and not allowed to do anything? How is he going to feel? IN a relationship if he feels supressed he is unhappy, he does not like control in the same way women also feels the same, She is a woman and you are a man just for procreation, otherwise both are just human beings with the same desire to express.
