It depends on which region you go.In the north the weather is cooler..In the islands it is hotter.

If you only like it when it's hot hot hotttt, you may be disappointed! It can be very variable at that time of the year. Generally speaking, the further south in Greece you go, the warmer it becomes. However, be prepared for changeable weather - it could be really quite warm, never scorching at that time of the year - but it could equally be bucketing! Just your luck I'm afraid! I have been down to Crete the last week of October for the last few years and it only rained once or twice but i know that in the weeks before I went, they had torrential downpours for about a fortnight - nothing's guaranteed. If you want guaranteed sizzling weather in October go somewhere with a better chance of good weather - maybe the Canary Isles?

It's not that hot, mid to high twenties by October, and it depends where you go. It can rain in October and the evenings are a little chilly.

Mid day temp up to low 30s, night time possibly as low as 15. The sea will be at it's warmest by October. Mozzies will be active, and expect thunderstorms

Well, as they've had a very hot summer this year, and temperatures are still at least 35C during the daytime at the moment, I guess it would still be hot enough for you in October

the hottest months are July and August..

On October most of the regions are facing temperature decreasing, rain or even snow! (specially in North Greece)

It could be nice and warm, not too warm though, but there could be some clouds or even rain. Not all the time though, the rain could last for 1 day of the week, the rest of the week will have perfect weather most likely.

I went to Crete in early October last year. It was warm enough for t-shirt and sandals, and going on the beach, but there were frequent thunderstorms, so we needed lightweight raincoats. Be ready for anything!
