A really good book to read is Circle the Soul Softly in this book, its about a young girl that goes through a new school year after her father passes away and marries another man, in this she doesnt becaomes rebelious but soon relies on her acting drama skills on her school. Taking advantage of this, her brother is very quiet mostly keeping to herself because he's sick of **** happening to him almost everyday. In the end, she finds herself a boyfreind, relaizes while she was a very young girl she was sexually abbused by her father who died of cancer. She meets freinds. ETC. Its really a good book. Period

I don't know if this is the sort of thing you'd be interested in, but currently I am reading J. Eugenides' 'Middlesex.' I've had it on my list since it won the Pulitzer, and I've not been disappointed--it's a captivating story.
