I am asking this question third time.....and yet i m not satisfied.......so plz give me genuine answer

The sun's most harmful wavelets to the eye are the same that damages the skin, that is those in the UV. Since we do not see in the UV, glass that blocks it is not associated with any color. For advice on sunglasses that protect your eyes see

For looking directly at the sun you need a special filter that blocks all wavelenghts since even infrared can do damage when it is focused by your lens on the back of the eye.
