I would just like to say that..i can understand the McCanns having to get some Legal Intervention it would be foolish not to...However if you look at the Legal Team their hoping to bring on board..they are experts in Extradition Law...why's that ??
Its less than 3 weeks since the McCanns came out of their villa and adamantly said they would NOT be bullied into leaving the Algarve and that they would stay until Madeleine was found come what may...and that they had NO intentions under any circumstances of going back to the UK without their precious daughter...I think most parents especially mothers could relate to that view...BUT here we are with a complete turn of events..and yes i understand that their status has changed from witness to suspect, but having spoken to many many of my friends who are parents..they all say the very same thing, that they would have had to stay in the Algarve regardless..firstly and paramount to continue their search for their little girl, and more so now to clear their name IF they are innocent..i think that would have given them much more credibility all round...and before any of you jump on me....I know thats easy to say when it's not happening to me...but most Mothers on this planet would feel an absolute need to be in the vicinity from where their child was taken from....Im not saying forever..but 4 months is really NOT that long...and when ALL avenues have been exhausted many many times and the investigation is at a real stale mate.. only then would i even start to consider going home....its a female, maternal instinct, a feeling that ONLY a mother can fully understand or explain...infact you can't explain it...and it makes me weep to even try and imagine the utter pain, anguish, panic & turmoil that losing your child would bring...However i just don't feel or see that in this case...Im not for one moment saying everyone should react or grieve in the same way cause we don't, but that maternal love and instinct is something quite unexplainable..i just find the orchestrated way in which the McCanns have dealt with this and the organised way in which especially Gerry McCann has conducted himself is hard for the everyday parent to grasp....that dosn't mean they are Guilty...it just appears odd !!!
Maybe they have simply been badly advised....none of us know...so many people jumped on the bandwagon in the Find Maddie Campaign..celebrities, writers etc and i still feel it's done more harm than good to the McCanns credibility...as the offer of money ALWAYS ALWAYS raises and heightens speculation as to what really happened in cases like this..and heading off to the USA for more Legal Advice and help will in my opinion do even more damage...i really do wonder exactly who is advising them ????

And on the flip side, more people are more interested in find the McCanns guilty then finding Maddie. You being one of them.

Well said Gunner!
Precious lot the McCanns can do from prison for their Madeleine...Of course, they need to clear themselves of the baseless accusations hurled against them.

Just so you know, they have also simultaneously started another campaign in search for her...

Did it ever occur to you to step into their shoes for a minute before accusing, charging & judging them all by yourself?

I would do the same, if innocent. Wouldn't you?
