Here's the options.
Do you like:
(1) soft-spoken and demure ladies who need your protection and help to solve problems most of/all the time, or
(2) confident and independent ladies who can handle most of/all their problems by themselves?

I'm number 2. I find that I get less privileges in treatment from my bf. He seems to think I am capable of doing and solving all the things by myself so whenever I get him to do something for me, he wants me to do it by myself. I sense he is not very sensitive to my needs because of my independence treats/talks to me less polite than he would with other ladies.
Also, I end up having to "look after" him more than he does for me!
I would think most guys prefer (1). Am I RIGHT?

To me honey, it will be a 50-50 of each though. When a girl is too dependant on me, I may not have the time to complete whatever that's needed to be done though.
If a girl is over confident and independent, there are times where not only is pride's at stake, the giel may even climb over me to get things done and I've no say about it either.

I would like a combination of the 2: Someone who is soft spoken but independent, yet not too independent to know that I exist, and someone who will let me know that she needs me, and who will want me to need her as well.

of course the second type, because you will deal with a human being who respect herself.
