Not only heard it but done it. This worm turned nearly 20 years ago; refused to take it any more.

Heard of it that's an old saying..............i usually say this worm is not for turning.........meaning i wont budge.
Then again you can cut a worm in two & it still lives.

yes, it happened to me, I'd had enough of an abusive relationship, realised it was not my fault, told the bas**rd what i thought of him and left, never looked back
when you abuse a person into submission long enough, they will always turn and defend themselves eventually, that's where the term comes from
