you CAN'T be pregnant if you haven't had sex. Bottom Line! I first got my period when I was about your age...and then I went a few years without getting one again. You're young, so sometimes it tends to be irregular when you first get it. DON'T WORRY! tell your mom! and if you're still worried- go to the doctor to put your mind at ease :)

Because you are starting out with having your periods it is normal for a period to be missed sometimes because the body is trying to adjust to the changes going on inside of it. As for the discharge that is normal to have, and sometimes it can be a lot. But if you notice an itching sensation or a smell like a fish that could mean infection.
Please also talk to your mom about this issue because she can help with additional information.

Take a deep breath and calm down. It is not uncommon to be irregular when you first get your period, and it can take a while for your body to settle into a regular cycle.
If you have not had sex then you can not be pregnant. End of story. Having a clearish, musky discharge is normal. If it is white or yellow, thick or smells bad then you may have an infection. To put your mind at ease, make an appointment with your local doctor or school nurse and have a chat with them about your concerns. That should put your mind at ease.
Best of luck.

ok, take a dep breath and calm down you are absolutly fine and deffinantly arent pregnant you can ony get pregnant from having sex and as you are a virgin theres no chance of you being pregnant, you only started your period 5 months ago and your periods can take months even years for some girls to settle into a routine (im 20 and even mine go haywire from time to time!!) this is why your getting alot of discharge please dont worry this is 100% normal there is no reason to be scared and your periods will settle into there own routine in there own time, if you are still worried about your periods speak to a female friend you trust can be anyone from a relitive to the school nurse as long as you feel comfortable with them:) but again please dont worry this is a normal stage in your development.

When you first start your period, it is never regular. It is normal to be irregular.
Also, things like changes in diet, changes in the amount of exercise, changes in your daily activites, and stress can foul up the cycle.
The discharge could be from hormones that are changing in your body. If it smells really bad or is really heavy (soaks all the way through your underwear), you might want to see a doctor. Otherwise, it shouldn't be a concern.

If you are still a virgin, you are NOT pregnant. The discharge could be a yeast infection, or even normal. Ask your mom to help you with this problem. She might even consider taking you to the Dr.

If you haven't had sex you obviously are not pregnant.
Calm down, you just started so you will be very irregular for a few years.
