I'm laughing my **** off!
I love marmite too, oooohhh how I love it.
I did think it was daft when I saw the squeezy bottle, I never bought one and you have just made me very pleased I didn't!
and to think, paddington bear makes it look so easy!!
I hope you are going to write to marmite to complain, get your money back and get compensation because marmite on the wall sounds incredibly messy to me (did you lick it off??)

I love Marmite but as yet have never seen it in a tube.
To get the remaining 1/3 out do what I do with all products that come in tubes. I cut in in half and then scrap the rest out. That way you will not waste a single drop. By the way the reason they put things in tubes is so that most people throw it away and buy a new one before it's completele finished. It's marketing.

Found the same thing with ketchup when they first put it into squeezy bottles. Have you tried holding said bottle by the base and (make sure the lid is on properly!) whirling your arm in a circle, the centrifugal force should help the Marmite on its way to the neck and out of the bottle. Just make sure the lid is on properly, I still have ketchup stains on my ceiling!

this is just punishment for liking that shite ! vile !!, acutally the most useless product ever is ronseal prefect decking stain, the one with the pad on the end of the stick and you just wipe the deck and in 30 seconds flat you have a lovely stained deck, does what it says on the tin NOT. £30 for each one which contains about a cupful of liquid the rest is the packagaing for the brush, the brush falls to peices as you sweep along if you apply more pressure than a 4 year old can handle, it leaves stain in the grooves of the wood, runs down inbetween the planks leaving a right mess, is wishy washy and fades really quickly in the sun. CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP !!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT !! ooohhhh now you got me mad too !!

Yes,sometimes it is very hard to squeeze this type of plastic tube, I prefer the bottle traditional way of packaging Vegemite, marmite, etc. They are so convenient just to take it from the knife & spread it on toast.I like marmite than vegemite because it is sweeter than the other one.My folks in the phil. like vegemite. I told them it has got a lot of vitamin B which is very good for you.

I Love marmite!!
My vote for the worst product on the market is the fence sprayers you get to make painting your garden fence easier and quicker. Does it hell!! It's makes more mess, uses up more paint and has ruined the paving and everything it gets the spray manages to hit!! I also ended up having to paint the patchy areas of the fencing with a brush. What a waste of £20!

haha...I have NO idea what "Marmite" is....anything like Vegemite?
(I'm an American and I don't know if you can find that here).
Anyhoo...regarding the squeezable bottle...same thing when I tried mayonnaise a couple of years ago...couldn't get it all out.
Try turning the bottle upside down overnight and see if most of it will flow "down to the top" and carefully take off the cap. Hopefully you'll get a good portion of what's left out of there.
ADD:
ok, I get it....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marmite
Marmite is touted as a "British and New Zealand savoury spread made from yeast extract, a by-product of beer brewing."
Sounds YUMMY!!

Wow the same thing happened to me! I was so angry I vowed never to eat marmite again.
But then I caved and bought a jar - now me and my morning marmite on toast are living happily ever after!!

Brilliant! I think Marmite are in cahoots with the folks who make that no nails bonding glue stuff - you can use it once then the glue solidifies in the nozzle and you have to buy another tube. Great idea!

I had a similar experience with Hellman's squeezy mayo. It's back to good old jars for me.
