How much do midwives earn per year?

I'm thinking about being a midwife. I may end up needing to travel, depending where my partner gets work. He will be looking at jobs in USA, UK, AUS & NZ

I'm in Australia and a midwife would earn about $40,000AU.

Yeah, really.

Just get some college and certify yourself as a nurse. Then you can get work wherever. There are hospitals everywhere.
