After three months of them discovering that lump on my lung, and bunches of tests, I go in tomorrow to have a biopsy.

I am quite scared, because I don't like needles been put into me. Let alone, into my lung. And I will only have a local, so I will be awake.

At least, with the biopsy we will get a final result, I hope! Think of me tomorrow please, as all my family are far away.

You are very wise to go ahead with this procedure even thru your fears. I lost a wonderful friend in 2000 because she was just to busy for a biopsy. Nothing I tried would convince her to get the test done. I fell confident that it could be an old scar. I have had lobar pneumonia many times and have scarred lungs. Think positive and try to really relax and it will be over in a flash. I have prayers going for you.

Justme, I will be thinking of you. I do understand how scared you are too. I have a phobia of hospitals full stop. Last year I had to go through a very unpleasant procedure while still awake. I was so frightened I convinced my self my heart would stop.
If you tell the staff how worried you are, they will understand. I had a very nice nurse hold my hand and talk to me the whole time. It was over before I had time to think about it.
The relief afterwards of being told it was nothing serious was a wonderfully liberating experience.
I hope you get a good result too. I'm sure we are all looking forward to you coming back to tell us you are well. x

Oh I will be thinking of you tomorrow, and praying for you also, that you will be relaxed, so that all will go well with your test.
I know it would be nice to have family near. I hope that you have a friend that you feel very close to.
I wish I could stand in as your Mother or Grandmother tomorrow. Be calm my dear. God loves you & so do I.
Prayers are going to be said.~~jill

I will be thinking of you, I know just how you feel. I had a total knee replacement 5 months ago and I did not react well to being put under, so I also have to stay awake when I get the other knee done. The very thought of it scares the hell out of me. Good luck and look on the bright side.

Feel all the warm and wonderful vibes coming your way.

Be calm. There's nothing to worry about.

Try to put your mind into a happy place once you lay down...a nice warm deserted beach where all you can hear is the wash of the water on the shoreline, and the heat of the sun on your skin.....visualize it. Smell the ocean. Hear the waves.

Before you know it, the nurse will be shaking you to get your attention that you can get up and get dressed now.

Take care.

I will pray as soon as I finish typing this. I know how you feel. I had aliver biopsy, had to have intraveinous fluid to thicken my blood first. I was scared and awake the whole time. That was ten yrs ago. I'm still here, healthy. God bless.

Yes, I will hold you up in prayer JUSTME.

Heavenly Father, I ask in the name of Jesus, that you be with Justme as she undergoes these tests. Lord, I thank you right now for going ahead of her today and sending the best doctors. Lord please give her peace of mind knowing that you are with her and that the final results will be negative.

Thank you for this answered prayer. Amen
