for males and females to dance to music is hundreds of years in history. Why not? It's fun. When else do you get to dress up like a movie star.

I agree, I dont currently have a boyfriend and could take a guy friend however I go to an all girls catholic school and I think it would be more fun to hang out with my friends , mingle with my year group and get lots of photos taken .. what is the point taking a guy who will end up standing around byhimself as he doesn't know any one else. Boys can come to the after party ;-) when you look back at photos of the night you want to look at pictures of you and your friends .. not a random guy you found just for the sake of it..
