You can start both in the same week. I hope this plan includes taking your clomid on the right cycle days. I even take my metformin and clomid at the same time during the day, it has never given me ill effects. Here's to you and your baby making!!

you start clomiphene citrate(clomid) on the 5th day of menstrual cycle for 5 days only. and retake it on the next menstrual cycle also on the 5th day for another 5 days. but taking clomid is limited to 3 cycles only Continue taking metformin as it is.Please consult with your doctor regularly.
