I stepped into a McDonalds and asked for a six-pack of gerbil McNuggets and a side order of French flies.
D'kid looks at me like I am d'crazy one here and says, "where is d'hiddoun kamera? Iz theez Kandid Kamera?" Well, whut iz d'at supposed to mean?

wow, how is it that your English shifted from near perfect, to generic faux accent in a matter of 3 or 4 sentence? i guess your English isn't quite as poor as you hope to make it out to be.

If this is not a joke, I think you don't deserve the cruel responses you have gotten. "English as a 2nd language" courses are available at numerous community colleges. Also, i believe you may be able to obtain assistance at DSHS (Department of Social and Health Services). Not to mention, free help at various "Worksource" locations (they can help with VARIOUS unemployment issues as well). I don't know what state you are located in, but simply enter "unemployment" and your state's/cities name in your search engine. if this IS a joke, you already realize you have gone too far and SHAME! Otherwise, I hope this has helped....

i am not sure if they were joking or being mean sometimes the americans here can be abit stupid.I hope you are understanding me. they were talking about this show that used to be on tv years ago called candid camera. it showed people in funny places doing things and they weren't sure if maybe you were with someone with your speech. but anyhow it was more a joke i would think. i could help you my email is suz1231949@yahoo.com i am not sure how i can help but i can try i am not a teacher but retired secretary. take care suzy

Candid camera is a prank show where they set up a hidden camera so the victim or the target can be caught with their expressions or reactions about the set-up. He should have not made fun of your accent. It's not easy to adapt to other language.

kandit (or candit i am not quite sure) camera was a show. they had a hidden camera and they would prank other people. i dont know why the guy thought you were joking but yeah..this is what candit camera is. i hope i helped
