i would like to trade my TE A.gates for a good wr who should i go for ? and what do you think is a far trade for Gates i have C.johnson but my 2nd WR is not to strong

I say keep Gates and look at your other options. Gates makes a great 2nd WR he just lines up at TE. Check your FA listing to see if ther is a sleeper WR out there and another player you can cut to pick up the sleeper.
If you do trade Gates you should except nothing less then Steve Smith, TO, Randy Moss, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Donald Driver or Maybe Plaxico Burress. Odds are you may not get offered them unless the person has 2 or 3 of those named WR's.

Steve Smith would be great, Donald Driver..... there are several. But if you can't get a good #1 receiver you should keep Gates. outside of LT, he is THE major offense for SD.

Get offers first. Take the best one. If you can't get a solid #2 WR, don't trade him.

Andre Johnson, Houston...Schaub's a great young QB and AJ will blow it up this year.

possibly Javon Walker if he's available..long as you have another solid TE that is.
