In my case I would term it more as socially/emotionally immature. It's better to think that I'm just behind the curve developmentally than to think it's broken and there's nothing that can be done.
We can learn, experience and ultimately grow into the people we'd like to be. It's good to take a hold of those decisions and know that we are in charge of ourselves.
Peace

I think it's everybody. You know, except the romantic cheesy types. I haven't said I love you since I was ten. Not to family, boyfriends, best friends... I don't even like hugs. I don't cry at funerals for people I've known for ages but I might for a stranger. I guess I hate getting close to people.

I think I'm a bit emotionally handicapped, but for a reason...I was tired of gettin' hurt & screwed constantly, so I just shut myself off...Life's much better that way, no room for diappointment.
