DODGERS v GIANTS, has been going on longer than Yankees vs Redsox, it all started back in 1883 when Giants were in New York and Dodgers were in Brooklyn, established at the same time same DAY. first game was against each Other.
There has been over ten bench clearing brawls since then.
They dont have too many heart breaking trades like; the babe trade but, they do have many important pennant races that ended with major heart ache.
-In 1958, both teams moved to the west coast making room for the Mets. The rivalry is just as or better than the Yankee vs Redsox rivalry. Last year I went to a game with nose bleed section seats and there must have been several fights way up top involving a crazy mexican dodger fan attacking a caucasion Giant fan.
Personally I think its a better rivalry because they're so close in Division titles and World Series wins, Dodgers wiith 6, Giants with 5. Go Dodgers

Dodgers-Giants for sure. They have the oldest rivalry. A lot of people will say Yankees-Red Sox but they were not really true rivals until the '70s. Cubs-Cardinals is good but when have they gone head to head in a serious pennant race. They have never had anything like the "Shot 'heard round the world" or the classic 1962 playoff. It is definitely the Dodgers-Giants, which mananged to survive even after both teams moved to the west coast.

The only answer is:
It depends where you are from - and who you like. To me, the best is White Sox - Twins. That is because I am a White Sox fan from Chicagoland. I could give two squirts about the Red Sox vs. Yankees. Or the Dodgers vs. Giants. It all depends on who you like. And the best = Bears - Packers, but I know - this is about baseball.

I gotta say GIANTS-dodgers. There is nothing like being a Giant fan, dressed in a Giants jersey and hat and sitting in the outfield section when the Giants come to LA. Especially when the dodgers are losing cuz every time (me) or other giant fans would go to the snack bar or just out of our seats. All the Dodger fans boo and throw food at you and they tell you to go F urself. Its crazy.

I've been a Giants fan for my entire life so I have to pick Giants-Dodgers. However, I must say that I like watching all rivalries in general. Emotions are always running high and it makes for great baseball.

Its candy. Pats vs Colts is my well-known they meet maximum seasons and was branch opponents. Then its Pats Vs Jets - we're not to prepared on long island activities golf equipment right here in Mass. Pats Vs Steelers - They dont meet as frequently because of the fact the colts yet they typically meet as quickly as each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days or 2. Pats Vs Fins - i like this opposition, maximum years the phins play the Pats properly. some years back the Pats and Dophins have been the two sturdy and the video games have been greater interesting however the dolphins have been in a position to compete maximum season even while they arent that sturdy.

My favorite rivalry is Yankees-Red Sox being a Yankee fan myself. To many, this is considered the best sports rivalry to date. It has a long and interesting history to it, and the fans on both sides are really into it, myself included. Every game between them is really intense, too. Also, they are both really good teams, so their playing level is really high up there.

White Sox - Cubs thanks to Inter league play.
Ah, you can't beat a good time at US Cellular when the sun is out during another GR8 summer day here in Chicago.
Then you wonder what all the commotion is in the upper deck.
Is it the fans trying to follow the band of lights that run across the facade from right field to left??
Are they trying to start the wave again.??
No it's 3 or 4 drunk Cub fans amongst a sea of thousands of White Sox fans . As i watch thru my binoculars the ever so smart visitors from the Northside are getting punched unmercifully by perhaps 20 Sox fans.
Ah, you can't beat a day out at the old ball park.
As Bugs Bunny would say , "What a maroon" , but let's pluralize it for all the fans in blue with a 'C' on their chest.
God, i love baseball in Chicago.
