Do you mean geographically speaking? If so, then the Equator is the hottest zone on planet Earth, while the Death Valley is the hottest place on planet Earth. Temperatures in Death Valley can range from up to 130°F (54 °C) in the day in the summer, to below freezing at night in the winter.

Gobi Dessert China or Death Valley USA . If you are not asking a trick question. The core is wrong because that is in earth not on earth, which leaves us any nuclear detonation at the time it happens being the hottest place on earth.

I bet most people would say "the desert" which of course would be incorrect since by definition, Antarctica is a desert.
Wow, did someone say "the sun"? Thats not a place on earth... Ha-Ha.
Honestly if I were to guess I would say somewhere near the equator. Specific to the US, I'd say death valley.

El Azizia, Libya, which hit a sweltering 57.8 degrees Celsius (136 F) on September 13, 1922, but there have likely been hotter locations beyond the scattered network of weather stations.

The hottest place on earth not in it would have to be one of the deserts closest to the equator. Somwhere in Africa I would say.

I read the daily meteorology newspaper and it seems that Baghad is consistently around 115 degrees. So i guess the Middle East is the hottest right now!!

IN Earth would be the core...
On Earth... Probably the tropics, because of the humidity, and it's hot year-round.
