It's official, Brett Favre has just broke the record for most wins by a quarterback. But now, it's been so long since Brett Favre started in the NFL, it's time or it's nearing time for him to retire already. So who do you think the next Brett Favre will be?

It could be Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Vince Young, or Carson Palmer to what I believe. My choice goes to Tom Brady.

Also do you think that Vince Young will compare up to Michael Vick as the "Michael Jordan of the NFL?"

Tom Brady would be my pick as next Brett Favre, but he's really more like next Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana, who will win so many Super Bowls and never really have record breaking single seasons like Peyton and Marino but always win way more games and will have a winning season rest of the seasons of his career, and he'll be considered a whole package of the Elway/Montana/Favre trio and be as good as those 3 combined, cause he has the heart that Favre has always had to go out and play to win, and always has led his team down field at end of games to come through in the clutch like John Elway always did, and puts up solid but never record breaking stats like Montana never did but always wins 10+ games almost every season, but Jon Kitna isn't a bad pick as runner up for this question for this season, and Vince Young will never compare to MJ at all cause this will be the beginning of the end for him and his "MADDEN 08 COVER CURSE"

There is no next Brett Favre, Dan Marino, John Elway etc... Brett especially is nearly beyond compare, because he's done the most with the least. He's never had true superstar type receivers like Manning and Palmer have. Think about this beyond Sterling Sharpe who only played two full seasons with Brett his targets have included good but never truly great players like Antonio Freeman, Robert Brooks, Donald Driver, and Bill Schroeder at WR. His RBs have included only one real star back in Ahman Green who had two or three really good years and much of the time they have had a below average running game fueled by Edgar Bennett and Dorsey Levens. Tom Brady has always been surrounded by great talent and an excellent coach his entire career, but he is still the most similar to Favre less a lot of arm strength of course. Assuming the Pats keep winning I can definitely see Brady eventually owning the career wins record though he can probably thank his defense and coaches for the majority of it. Brett Favre though has single handedly done more for the Green Bay Packers than any other QB in the history of the game, and is possibly the best QB to ever play the game. I still get excited to watch him play, because anything can happen like during that Philly game last week when he was being taken down by two guys and shoveled it to Wynn for a fifteen yard gain on what was a ridiculous play that led to an important field goal.

I would go with Tom Brady too because they are very similar, both have mastered the art of the 4th quarter comeback and both can throw a rocket.
I think Vince will be better than Vick, I even think he will win the Super Bowl 1 year
As long as he doesnt get in truoble with the law

I agree with you about Tom Brady being the next Brett Favre...but I don't get your logic about comparing Michael Vick to Michael Jordan...I could and would compare Tom Brady to Michael Jordan, ie. the best in the sport...and ultimately before Brady is done, the best QB ever...

Very funny! I hope Chilly does the right thing and bench Farve. Surely Davaris Jackson can't possibly make worse decisions than Farve is doing right now. Last night's loss to the Packers were sqaurely his fault. He doesn't throw those three bad picks, the Vikings win easily.

Tom Brady's right up there, no doubt.

Good gosh, don't use M. Vick and M. Jordan in the same sentence.

Rex Grossman of the Bears, he has the same gunslinger attitude that Favre has. He needs a bit more discipline but I think his style is the closest to Favre's.
