I acctualy go to a an australian public school. In australia our uniforms are prety strict even in public schools. For example ive read alot of peoples questions and experiences from america. Your private/catholic school uniforms are the same as our public uniforms. Dont even get me started on private schools over here!!!!

Do it because you have to ... don't announce it over a giant P.A. system, but do it like your 'non-uniform item' is a "rainbow-colored jock-strap" or "stained panties" or somethin`.

Get something close to exactlysimilarrr.
Or don't do it all, it's a hassle, and if you get caught, looking cool wasn't worth it.

I know kids that go to Catholic school, and the rules are in the books. Down to the fingernail length, the color of socks, the transparency of tights, the shades of nail polish acceptable, the number of rings you can wear on each hand and so on...
It's not worth getting caught, because once you do, people remember you and check you even more for uniform violations, causing you to get checked even more often.
And it's never a good thing to have a teacher think you're a punk anyway.

OK, you get so many "rule-breaking" points, depending on what school you go to. Soooo, if you are a straight-A student, active in extra-curricular activities and student government, and really really nice and respectful to your teachers, you can get away with breaking any uniform rule you like. Probably. But you have to be super-spectacular in all other areas.

Personally, I'd stick with the uniform, and sluff off on the "good attitude" department if I were you. It's a lot easier.

But, you could also try: rebel socks! That's what they do in Japan -- kids have pretty strict uniform rules, but get away with wild socks, altering their hemlines, buying clothes a size too big or too small, or wearing funky underwear. If your school checks your underwear . . . definitely time to look for a new school!

You cannot BUT:
Take "a day off" and wear the outfit you like the best, then you go in front of the school at the end of the day.
#1 You will contrast with everyone.
#2 You will have a feeling of power and "well done".
You would have made your own holiday and have been in different clothing you should had that particular day!

i hate private schools and their uniform policies. that's just DUMB. go to a public school instead and come to school in your PJ's or whatever. have you seen that show HIGHSCHOOL PRANKS i think it's on MTV2. where kids from highschools pull of pranks obviously LOL. you can pull a prank at school where you get all the kids together to show up to school wearing NON school policy clothing. like wearing really weird clothing or just normal everyday non policy clothing. obviously principle can't suspend everybody but you can have a day off?

Somehow make them think that you cannot afford the school uniform or get a waiver.

Don't bother. You have a uniform so just wear it.

I suppose just make the differences subtle, just alike enough that they aren't immediately noticeable.
