I own a complete, 124 piece collection of flatware. It is mostly silver plate (94 pieces) with some stainless steel knives (30 pieces) (white handles ivory ?). It has never been used and was a wedding present to my parents in 1933. It is in its original wooden chest.

The brand name is "Carlton Cutlery, Sheffield" The stainless steel is marked "Firth-Brearley" and the silver plate is marked "EPNS" "A1"

Your best bet is to see if someone is selling something similar on e-bay, and see what they get for it.

I don't think silverplate has that much value, even if it's never been used. Maybe around a buck a piece?

But that said, I don't know. It may have sentimental value to someone, or be a great design, so do some research and check with the e-bayers and other auctions. Good luck.

If you have long legs, flats matching the color of your dress would be perfect. If you have a nice budget, Marc Jacobs is always a nice route. If you have a lower budget, Payless has cute flats from American Eagle for less than $20. If you want to look taller, heels would be cute too. Rue21, Charlotte Russe, and Forever21 have cute & inexpensive heels with a nice quality. Wedges would also work. <3 Hope I helped!

Your vintage pieces might be desireable to a collector of the 20's and 30's, but their intrinsic value might not be large. Because they are unused, that might make a small difference--however, you would need a professional opinion on whether the handles are ivory or not--tusk ivory was usually used on services that were sterling silver or other fine metals.
