First of all try not to worry it won't be good for bub. I remember I fell over twice when I was pregnant. Once at 26 weeks on my bum and the other at 38 weeks near my stomach. The first time I was so scared, I went to the emergency room and I was told by the nurse there, that if I felt the bub move and there isn't any bleeding at all then everything is OK. You will be surprised how strong the womb it. It is designed to protect the baby from harm, so I wouldn't worry. If you don't have any bleeding or cramping after about 2-3 days everything is OK.

I am a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse. I am sure if you are not experiencing and pain or spotting that all is OK. I can understand how this must worry you but I can assure you that your baby is well protected and that it would take a pretty hard blow to the stomach before any harm would come to your baby. You might just call your Docs office in the morning so that they can give you peace of mind if you are still concerned. If you do start bleeding or having any cramping go immediately to your local emergency room. Congrats of your upcoming arrival !!! X

It is highly unlikely that this type of accident would hurt the baby. It takes very serious abdominal trauma to hurt a growing fetus in that way. The typical falls of bumps aren't going to do it. I am very confident you are in the clear, so just keep with your appointment next week unless you have cramping or bleeding, which you are already smart enough to watch for. As you get bigger the rough housing will need to stop though, just cause a popping baby belly is harder to avoid. Let him know yall are fine and take him along to the appointment to reassure him, it will do him good.

It's okay,if you're not having any cramping or discharge, everything is fine. I am sure that he felt terrible...and scared!! Bless your hearts! As an RN for over 25 years, I can tell you from experience that it is amazing what those little angels can handle!! I've seen nine month pregnant women come out of motor vehicle accidents with no adverse effects! Just watch and make sure that you're not bleeding, if you start, go directly to the ER, but I feel sure that things are fine. Just try to relax, the baby can sense it if mommy's anxious. God bless and good luck!

I'd worry too, but I'm just paranoid about alot of things lol. But I wouldn't worry about it too much. Like everyone else said, the baby's well enough protected. It's still got alot of the placenta around it and room to move since it's not that big yet. But if you start bleeding or cramping, I'd definitely suggest calling your doctor. And I know it's just playing around, but since you're expecting, you might want to hold off on the horsing around, at least a little. You don't want to strain yourself too much.
I wish you a safe and happy pregnancy...congrats!

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and my toddler kicked me in the stomach by accident. It wasn't hard and I felt fine. If you notice any differences like pain or spotting, call your doctor. The uterus/placenta is amazingly strong and all the amniotic fluid is surrounding and protecting your baby so I wouldn't worry too much. You can always just call your doctor, explain the situation, and see what he/she says to do, without having to go in right away.

It's normal to worry .. but if you aren't having any cramping or bleeding, I would say you're fine! :)
remember .. that baby is WELL protected by the amniotic fluid ("water bag") .. and it would take a LOT to harm the baby.
*(think about when you have sex while pregnant, you are constantly hitting the cervix and no damage is done)

If he hurt bub you would know about it, I would wait till your scan, bub has that awesum sack protecting him or her so i wouldnt stress about it. If you have any severe cramping or and bleeding then i would go to the hospital but if your not in any pain bub is fine.
