oh, completely disregard hiimben. He thinks it should be easy for everyone to get out and meet people. I for one have been very grateful for myspace. I'm a stay-at-home mom with no money, so it's nearly impossible to go out and meet people. It's hardly free to go anywhere these days. I've used Myspace, but I've heard Friendster is also a good one. Most of the ones recommended are very low-profile now a days. You might want to try something a little more cosmopolitan like Virb.com or Vox.com if you're looking for more of a blogging platform with benefits.
