a true friend?

my 2 "friends" played a prank on me, but it wasn't one of those haha pranks well it probobly was to them, but it wasn't to me. They lied to me about my crush liking me and they even got HIM in on the plan and they said he wanted to go out with me. It was all a joke and it really hurt me. They have done stuff like this before but not as big the other times they have just told my crush i like him. This time was too big and to mean. Should i still be their friend? Should i get them back? and if so how should i get them back? please I need answers!! thanks for everyone who answers i need as many as I can get right now .

i haven't done anything to them so that is clear all i have done is try to be their friend. I have been friends with them since we were in 5th grade, and we are in 7th grade now. SI i hope that is a little clearer for everyone

No matter what, don't seek revenge. I just went into 9th grade, so we're probably in the same age range, and I know this sounds like something that a real person would never do, but I used to be a peer counselor and I told many kids to do this (successfully).
JUST TALK TO THEM!!!!!!!
Get them alone at school and tell them that what they did crossed the line and really hurt you. If they laugh and blow you off, then they aren't worth your friendship. I know it's hard to stop being friends with people, but you don't have to completely stop talking to them. Just ease away from them, join and club and make some new friends who can appreciate you.
Whatever you do, don't scream and argue, becuase that only makes it worse and could result in a full blown fight. just keep your cool and make sure they know that what they did was wrong, and that if they want to keep you as a friend, they shouldn't do it again.
You might want to take a little break from these "friends" as well. Not immature I can't see you break. Just hang out with some other friends, and wait for things to cool off between you guys.

if u really feel that you really need them, then ask them why they are doing this to u. tell them that it was not a good joke and it really hurt u. show them how u feel or for a while, don't pay attention to them whenever you are with them so that they will know how you feel towards them. If they come to you and ask u what is wrong, tell them about this, and if not, then they don't deserve you as their friend. By the way, the length of ur friendship matters.How many years were you friends? if short enough then maybe you should not have them back. they are not true friends, they were mean. But first, tell them what you really felt about what they have done to you. This is the better thing to do for now. Have the courage to ask them, bcoz ur friendship is at stake in this situation.

Stop being their friend. They're not your friends. People did that to me before, like six through tweflth grade, and it's just stupid. Pretend it's not even something worth your time. Next time someone tells you someone likes you, and it happens to be your crush, suspect they are noticing you like that person, and then say something like Really? Yeah right. Aand then walk away. It won't be fun for them anymore. Become a wall.

I don't know why they're picking on you, but some people are easier marks than others.... I'm sorry people are so mean.

did you do anything wrong to these people? (i mean are they actually getting you back for something?)
i wouldn't stoop to their level, although it would probably feel nice. then these bitches would just think you're a ***** too and so would others.
i think you would have alot more affect on them if you found new friends and started spending less time with the old ones until eventually you stop. let them know what it is like not to have you and that might show them what they have done wrong, they might change their ways and you could forgive them one day. but i would try and move on. goodluck

play a prank on them no don't be thier friend unless they apologize in a good manner or figure a way out to get your crush by embarassing themin front of the whole school and make sure your crush is watching then hell make u think u were brave and he'll want you more

omgosh thats terrible.
you need to tell them straight up that is was not cool. that you were hurt by it, and you embarassed. it was horrible for them to do that to you. but revenge is not the answer. if anything, they will just get back at you, maybe doing something even worse.
if they say that they were just trying to have fun, then tell them that it wassn't fun, or funny, for that matter. and they can find a new friend to play stupid pranks on.

Don't bother getting them back. The only way you can get them back is to stoop to a mean level, and that's not a good thing. I would just stop talking to them. A true friend would NEVER EVER EVER do that. EVER.

True friends would not have done that. They are amusing themselves at your expense. You need some new friends. You have already given them another chance since they have already done this to you. I would not give them another one.
