I am 34 weeks pregnant, I found that throughout my pregnancy, I didnt get alot of movement as I expected and as described by other people. However every time I see my midwife, everything is fine. I dont know if this makes sense but maybe some of you know what I mean. It doesnt even feel like theres a baby in my belly! I mean I am really big and its heavy but I dont "feel" a baby, I feel little movements here and there, but I could never tell you how the baby is laying or anything, and also considering how far I am I thought the movements would be stronger considering that the baby is getting bigger...but it doesnt feel like "big" movements. Have any of you felt or experienced this???

Your baby is just not very active, and when you are at the end they are less active because they are running out of room. I'm sure you just have a mellow baby. And about the midwife good choice! I gave birth at home. It was the best experience ever! Good luck!

You mentioned that you see a midwife.. have you had an ultrasound? I know that some people/midwives choose not to have one. There is the possibility that your baby is fine but if you haven't had an ultrasound I definitely would get one. They can measure the size of the baby and also the movements that the baby is making. I don't remember what they are but there are specific number of movements that you should be feeling every hour.

In all.. I would see a doctor and get an ultrasound!

Well, maybe you should consider getting checked out by a real doctor,(even if you dont have insurance) ? What if there is something wrong w/baby, wouldnt you want to know? Hopefully there isnt, but Im just saying get chkd out by a real doctor. Yes, you should be feeling heavier movements by now. Make sure, you're not doing anything or drinking alcohol. If you're a smoker that can cause complications to the baby, even when its a fetus. Call a doctor - dont be afraid.

I was always concerned with my daughter, which was my second baby. She wasn't moving as much as my son did. What they always said was,eat dinner or lunch.Drink something sweet(juice)Sit leaning on your left side and start counting. You should be able to count 10 good kicks. You do that every day to make sure that your baby ia fine.Sweet makes them hiper. That was my test with my daughter. But they can be different. My son would freak people out, while he was in my belly. He used to move so much and so hard that people would be talikng to me and going like"Are you ok?Your belly is jumping up and down?"None of that with my daughter. So each baby is different.Defenaetly keep an eye on it.Better be safe that sorry.

My daughter kicked me so hard in the ribs I would gasp outloud. I would check with a doctor to ensure everything is okay. Everyone I know had big movements. Good luck!
