My wife and I just found out that we are pregnant and we are planning on telling my family at my sister's Halloween party. We want to do something funny like show up in a cool costume, like an oven with buns in it or something.

Look, i'm not stupid. We're pregnant because it's "our" baby. We are sitting here laughing at your stupidity and the fact that you have no life.
P.S. we are not teenagers and the baby is wanted and welcome!

Awww...that is so cool.
Well, you could bake cupcakes and put letters on the top and have them unscramble them. Something easy like "Baby On The Way"
Or have your wife dress up like a car (yeah I dunno how) and get one of those "baby on board signs" to stick on her. (I really like this idea!)

That is such a cute idea! I would love to tell my family that way. You could do a little timer on the oven with "months" written on it, pointing to the number of months left. Maybe you could be a french baker "Oh, hohoho, I 'ave put a leettle bun in ze oven!" Okay, that last part is a corny, but congratulations and Happy Halloween!

I say your wife dress up as a very pregnant mom and you could be like the nerdy husband carrying the suitcase, and maybe write something on you back like "conclusion 1/2/08" or whatever the due date is. That could be worded different but I can't think of it right now, it's late. Anyway, congratulations, the best time of your life!

FYI, the broken planet. ME and MY BOYFRIEND are pregnant, yes Im the one carrying the baby, but believe me he is sharing this experiance with me. Don't try to put someone done just because you aren't happy about something.

i love your idea!!! that is really cool and i never heard of anyone doing that. your wife could dress up as a pregnany women...i like the bun in the oven idea...and you can be the "cook" aka bun maker haha!! or dress up like babies

Actually that is a really good idea!!! i would go with that!!! she could dress like that and if thay didnt get it from her costume....you dressing as her...pregnant might clue them in!!

How about a couple "peas" and carry a basket with a baby pea in it ... "adding a pea to your pod" :)
Or have her dress up with condoms all over a dress with a banner (like miss america) that says "Miss Conception!" ..

i would SO do it. that's awesome. i'd do the "bun in the oven" thing. or, depending on her stomach size, she can just paint her stomach with a "bun". congrats. i wish i had something to show my family....
