yeah. do what u have to do to prevent kids. condoms, patches, shots. There's this natural birth control method too. it's called the billings method. IT's all up to the girl though. It's all about the thickness of her discharge. If it's thick, then u can have sex, no problem, but if it's thin, then abstain if u don't want kids. Depo vera just thickens the mucus in the vagina so sperm have a harder time getting through, and I heard the eggs dont get released either. I think the patch does this too. But I do beieve the condom has the highest rate of preventing pregnancy...besides abstinence. But u might want to try other methods, just to give urself a break. Good luck.

DO NOT USE DEPO PROVERA SHOT!!!! We believe that this is what triggered my wifes cancer. She had other female problems and the ob/gyn gave her this without consulting us. If your wife has cancer in her family medical history, condoms or an IUD is the only answer. Any female long term birth control would cause her body to believe it has hit menopause. This could trigger the cancer. If there is no cancer, then there is the Norwood implant that will last for a long time. It is placed on the inside of the arm and is very effective. But not the depo provera. Good Luck.

Yes it is acceptable, but why not use pills? DO NOT try the pull out method. This is NOT an affective method unless you chart her ovulation and blah blah blah. My sister has an adorable set of twins....they used the pull out method! I used Depo and LOVED it! When she goes to her yearly exam with the OB/GYN have her talk to them about it or have her make an appointment now. Good Luck!

It's fine to wear condoms if you don't want kids yet. Do you get enough pleasure when you wear one? Have you tried pulling out early near the time she's ovulating? It's hard, but you can do it.

We've done it, sure. Keep in mind that condoms break. We have an adorable 5 year old to prove it! You might want to consider a back up plan....

Yeah, its totally your guys choice on what you two decide to do. And IUD is also another option for her, it lasts for 5 years and can easily be removed if you decide to have children before the 5 years are up.

If you have to ask, you're too young to be married.
