7x + 24 = - 21

I dont understand what im doing wrong!!! -

ok, so you want to get the numbers on one side, and the x's on the other -

subtract 24 from both sides, so you get
7x = -45

divide -45 by 7, and you get the wrong answer!!!!!

7x = - 45
x = - 45 / 7 (IS correct answer!)

Actually, you're correct.

The answer is in fraction: x = -45/7
