Is a day good enough? Of course she would only be on "light duty" house work. I will even allow use of the dishwasher. It would be nice to get the house back in working order as soon as possible.
Thanks angels.
xoxo

Maybe you should get off your lazy butt and do the work. If you're partner gave birth, I feel sorry for her. It takes time to heal after having a baby. Try having something the size of a watermelon come out of something the size of a lemon. You are supposed to be supportive and happy about the birth of a baby, not say "Hunny, I think you're well enough to do some housework. While you're at it, go make me a sandwich and get me a beer." How do you think that would make her feel?

I wish men could give birth, then they would know how it feels for us women and then they'd be able to shut their mouth.

I seriously hope you are not talking about your wife who has just given birth!

Oh my God - I can't even believe that you are bold enough to think this way, let aside post the question here!

Why don't you get off your computer and go get the house in order and give her some time to rest!

I'm happy to tell you that the house is never going to be the same with a baby - the mommy has something more important to take care of now other than the mess in the house, and other than YOU for sure!

I wish men could give birth, just to see how it feels. Then see how long it would take them to go back to work. I won't answer the question you asked but I will tell you about a friend of mine that thought she had to keep everything up in her house the minute she got home from the hospital she continued doing what she would normally do (Normal Housework!) My friend died 2 days later due to a hemorrhage. The doctor said it was because she should have taken it easy instead of doing her normal daily activities.

1 Year.

Try giving birth, having a baby with it's big head come outo f you, then go back to your "light" house work again.

Aww, thanks for calling us 'angels'! How endearing. 'How long...is a day enough', you ask?

No, a day is not enough, dear. I believe that about six months following your involuntary vasectomy will be just about right; you may begin putting your wife's house back in order right about that time! lol

Well when she is ready to give birth just have her squat right there at the sink, rinse it off and wrap it in a hand towel and put it in her apron. No reason to even stop working at all.

Try this..get off your behind and clean the house yourself. "ALLOW USE OF THE DISHWASHER"??? OMG! Please get some professional counseling. Seriously.
Do it yourself or hire someone to do it for you.
