I understand why you question the morality of war. The world is not equally civilized and there is evil. War is necessary in this imperfect world. War has brought the end to slavery, totalitarianism, communism, tyranny, and oppression over and over again. If someone attacks you, you must attack with a disproportionate response or they will continue to attack you. War is about getting the disproportionate response that ends the evil force of will. Look at the archangel Michael. He is standing victorious with his foot on Satan. Michael is armed with a sword and he holds the scales of justice. Millions of people have died under evil dictators and brave soldiers come to put an end to the force of evil. Just because it is war does not mean it is not just, or good. Read history and you will see the virtue and valor of soldiers defending freedom. It is easy to be anti-war because it makes you feel good because you care about the loss of life. That is not thinking it through entirely. Remember this: If you are standing on it, it is because someone fought and died for it. Appreciate that sacrifice so that you can live free! There are things definitely worth fighting and dying for, and freedom for those many, many who don't have it, is one of them. God Bless our troops!
P.S. Please consider what the world would look like if the likes of Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, etc. were not stopped!

Being pro-War is great! You see so long as none of your friends/family are enlisted, the battles are happening really far away, and the modern conveniences we enjoy are in no way compromised you really have no reason not to be pro-War.
Unless of course you have a shred of human decency, that is a pretty good reason.
Why do we keep killing each other? Forget anti-war, be pro-peace!

I don't understand it either. But in case you are unsure of who "they" are, let me formally introduce you to George W. Bush and the Republican Party.
Prior to Bush, war used to be a concept of where you would hear the words last resort. With Bush around, it is shoot first and ask questions later.

Its easy to be Pro-war if you are too old, too disabled, or too rich to end up face down in the sand.
