Absolutely. The people you mention committed horrendous crimes. How anyone can argue that the McCanns are as bad as serial child attackers and murderers is beyond my comprehension, particularly when we have limited knowledge of the facts of the matter.
Now, I am not stating that I understand the McCanns behaviour, nor am I saying that I think they should have left their children: to me, it is common sense that you do not leave young kids alone, it is wrong. This doesn't mean I am daft enough to automatically assume that the parents are killers, and it certainly does NOT warrant equating them with convicted child kidnappers and rapists.
I have no idea whether they are innocent or guilty of killing Madeleine, so I refuse to say that I know for certain. Nobody here has sufficient evidence to conclude otherwise - unless of course they were involved in the crime or the full investigation and know all about what REALLY happened to the poor child.
The McCanns, who have had no formal charges brought against them regarding Madeleine's assumed death, are in no way comparable to the cases above. Huntley et al tortured and raped the kids before murdering them violently.
Oh yes, and these criminals were also convicted in a court of law using evidence and fact, not simply judged by a kangaroo court through absolutely nothing but media speculation.... by a bunch of people who say that they "will never change (their) minds no matter what" when it comes to the issue of the parents guilt.

The anti macanns are acting hysterically thats why. They dont listen to the facts, they pick up on all the little rumours and newspaper reports, sorry tabloids i should say.
The parents are going through hell and because they left them inside while they had a meal in what they say was like eating in your garden, but the antis accuse them of murdering her and hiding her body and drugging her etc etc.
I believe its only sensible people who do not believe everything they read in the newspapers, and they will be proved right when they say the parents are innocent.
If you ask a maccann question,be prepared for the abuse from these small minded people.

Like a pack of rabid dogs they just lose control of what they do, the McCanns have been found guilty of NOTHING but that does not prevent the more vile members of the ongoing hate campaign accusing them of anything that springs to there tiny minds.
Fecking idiots that no one with half a brain takes the slightest notice of.
The funny thing is some of them actually believe that there pathetic rants about the McCanns are actually influencing the situation.
Deluded morons.

I can't decide if the members of this hate campaign are like little boys who have a cigarette and say swear words to shock their peers all for attention, because any attention for a dull person is better than no attention. Or, and this is the one that makes me shudder, they really are that hateful, blinded, bitter, nasty, twisted, lacking logic and have no compassion. I knew they were rotten people in the world, but I didn't think that there could be so many in one place. The reality is that you reap what you so, therefore I can content myself with the knowledge that they have lives I wouldn't want, and they have brought it on themselves. I feel pity for anyone who leads a miserable life, it's so short.

The comparison is stupid, i agree totally. The McCs are not accused of deliberately murdering and raping a number of kids. Before you lot start - YES, anyone who deliberately sets out to kill a child is a disgrace to humanity, but lets get real, raping children before killing them makes the victim's suffering twice as hideous. If people cant see how the situation is entirely different then they clearly have an alarmingly poor ability to think for themselves. Morons!

Papa, you know what?
I don't think a lot of people on here read questions or others answers properly. I have been misconstrued countless times and have had the most bizzare emails from people who have thought I was saying something totally opposite to what I have said.
I think with the McCanns people just see that word and their responses are very emotive.
You are indeed right, they should not be compared to the likes of those you mention.
have a star and a nice day

I'll agree with your point on this one. A mass murderer in my eyes is worse then a person who accidentally kills a child and then tries to cover their tracks. To put everyone in the same barrel and just say that they are all as bad as each other is a strange way to view life. Then again, you will always have the extremists that like to group people together in order not to think about the finer details of an incident.

Aztec has a valid point, although I would not go so far as to accuse all the hostile posters as he has done. However I would say that they are of very limited intelligence and have obviously anger issues which cloud and confuse their very restricted judgement. They mistake a real-life case with their experience of soap-operas, BB and other media trivia in thinking that their interpretations and prejudices have any reality or validity.

This all comes down to trying to find the worst links possible to further demonise the McCann family in the eyes of the British public. I am completely with you on this one. To Date there is only rumour and speculation, so we should be letting police of both countries get on with their jobs, as well as leaving this poor family alone.
To link the McCanns with Huntley, Brady, Hindley and the Wests is both insulting and injurious to their case. It is irresponsible gutter journalism of the worst sort.

i agree with you on this one. I am not a fan of the mccanns as they left their children and in my opinion sedated them too. Linking them to those killers is in my mind a step to far. Lets hope the truth comes out soon.
