Yeah I got Victor Martinez's home run shot, The Indians still lost, but I got a nice souvenir for my wife. Has anyone else ever caught a home run ball? The Indians sent down a guy from the team shop to give me a certificate of authenticity.

I was wondering if all the teams give a certificate saying you have a game home run ball or just Cleveland. I would imagine most of the teams do it now.

haha yeah I saw the video... I am the super lanky guy in the blue sweater going for the ball lol, it's hard to miss a 6'5" guy.

Congrats. When I was 10 years old I was in the left field bleachers at Dodger Stadium and the Dodgers were taking BP. Dusty Baker hit a shot that was headed straight for me. It was going about 700 MPH and as it got closer I realized, "I'm not good at baseball" and I ducked. The guy behind me barehanded it and I've always thought one thing....at least I still have beer to wash away the pain of my cowardess!

I got Pedro Guerrero's 100th home run. Actually I was 5 and my neighbor caught it and gave it to me. He got Pedro to sign it and label it #100. Very sadly my parents did not put it away and wait until I was older before giving it to me. The dog and I have some wonderfull memories of that ball. So sad.
