Well maybe start fundraising money to help buy supplies for soldiers and stuff for the war, or join one of those groups that help discuss the ways they can help prevent global warming and tell the world how to do so too.Or start a recyling group, help out at the blood drive, etc. Good to know there are more people in the world like you that want to help out. =)

In addition to the other suggestions, how about household dangers that most teens might not consider so dangerous such as inhalants ('huffing' fumes) which can cause permanent disability or even death, 'the choking game' also called 'space monkey' or 'the pass out game' where a person either hyperventilates to purposely pass out or puts something around their neck instead for a cheap, quick high as with huffing. The person can get a stroke ('brain attack') which is basically a brain injury as a risk in those who engage in huffing. My friend actually has a traumatic brain injury (tbi) and other permanent damage including to her bone marrow (fatty inner lining of the bones that cushions joints and makes blood cells) from huffing at age 12, now in her 30's.

Also, water intoxication is a real danger. Some people may want to have a 'water drinking contest' and then their systems get depleted of salt and they can actually die! Also, 'robo-tripping' is when a person drinks possibly a bottle of that cough medicine, robutussin, to get a high which typically includes hallucinations. It can be addictive and of course dangerous and fatal. Household dangers not typically thought of as so daunting can be a cause to spread around the school. Wishing you all the best of luck and how awesome that you are organizing such a project!

For the global warming cause, start a recycling program. See if you can have a recycling drive to raise money to help out a 911 organization or to support family's who have lost a relative due to war. Writing letters to the men and women overseas is thoughtful, caring, and not hard. Get other students involved and get a teacher to help you follow-through with your efforts. Good luck and thank you for being a good example and showing that not all teenagers just think of themselves! Good job!

I'm only going to offer ideas for global warming sorry :)
Type or write a paper of ideas for helping global warming (i.e. taking shorter showers, walking/biking to somewhere if it's close, turn off lights when not in use, etc.), reasonable, easy-to-do things. Have people sign it, pledging to do at least one of those things. Also make another copy and tape it in public places like the school newsboard, so people can see it. Even if they don't sign, they'll at least have gotten the notion in their heads. You can also circulate multiple copies during lunch. Good luck! Even a small thing makes a difference! :)

First of all ..read / watch news channels for more politics not only from your country but other countries as well...and learn what American government (Mr.Bush and his administration) is doing / what they want by their actions...and try to learn ..How...and Why all those incidents happen? After capture of ..Saddam Hussein....why the American doesn't want to leave Iraq?....

If you and your friends are really smart and brave to change the world..then find out ..ANSWERS for those questions....and please don't stick to ONLY what you are hearing from the Americans. (goverment)..try to grab more news from around the world and find out the truth...all the best.

you should educate people about drugs... honestly, that'd be a great cause... if i knew then what i know now, i never woulda started drugs in 8th and 9th grade...

i did crystal meth when i was 14 because i knew nothing bout it other than it was a drug... if i'd known what i was getting into, i wouldnt have tried it...
