For all the people that felt they needed to say rude commets. Your the ones that need to grow up. This site is for asking questions which is what I did. I was curious if there was a difference or not. I wasn't trying to say anything bad about either way. Obvisously the women that got all bent out of shape were the ones that are insecure because thier afraid thier loose.

I'm not a man, but I can answer just the same.....tightness is only effected if you've had multiple births of big babies, IF you had tearing or episiotomies that were not repaired good. My doc did such a good repair it was better and tighter than before I was pregnant. Women who get lax down there usually have multiple pregnancies back to back for several years and the muscles never get back to tight before they get stretched out again. They too can have a surgery to tighten things up after they are finished haveing babies.

Well, yeah, the end result is a little different - she doesn't push a baby out of her vagina. (The vagina is a muscle that is designed for childbirth, but sure...there are bound to be some differences before/after pushing a baby out.)

However, I'm confused as to why you think this should make a difference? Hopefully you're not going to base a decision on whether or not to have a c-section based on that. C-sections are necessary sometimes (I've had 2 c-sections myself), but the decision should be based on medical concerns not to "stay tight."

If you are concerned about how to give birth, but are not pregnant, I would consider not having any if you are worried about your "tightness". a C-section is surgery and with any surgery things can go wrong, If you are not worried about your belly taking months or years to trim back down, and would rather deal with pain from the muscles being cut and sewn back together, then go for it. But like others have stated, the vaginal muscles are made to stretch and will go back into shape after the baby is born, and there are exercises to assist with this.

There is exercise you can do for your tightness problem , Have the baby natural if you can . I have four kids and I really don't think there is a difference . Oh yeah , besides that , its a lot more exciting for the father and your mom and who ever else you desire to be there when its natural . If you have the c-section , nobody but the father can be in there . This is from personal experience .

yes you will stay tight if you have a C-section
Thats just obvious your not having the baby vaginally
everybody alwasy argues that the vagina is the same tightness afterwards, thats bull like the other answerer said theres bound to be a difference because just common sense hey your pushing a watermelon out of something whether it stretches or not is the size of a doughnut hole
choose natural birth or C-section is purely up to you
As for me Im going to have a c-section too when I have mines

Well, my husband says that it feels tighter to him now after I gave birth vaginally than it did before. But that is our personal experience... To be honest you really shouldn't worry about that aspect of giving birth anyway... your partner is not going to care about the tightness when you have a newborn... and by the time your baby is no longer a newborn you should be back to normal. I suggest giving birth vaginally if possible and following with Keagle exercises.

I can answer for my husband. I had natural birth but tore. My doctor stitched me up very well. I'm just as tight as I was before, maybe even a little tighter. Most women do shrink back to the same size.

A C-section is in your lower abdominal muscles, not your vagina. There will be no change whatsoever to the tightness of your vagina.
