i dont really care if no1 in the community here does, im really just curious.

there bound to be some1 out there somewhere, i mean, ive discovered that its actually quite common & normal to be weird & other things that ppl might think theyre alone in so i know i cant be the only one out there w/ this inparticular thing, but like i said, im really just curious about this community alone. i dont even care if im the only here. (btw, im 18)

maybe you could check out this song on y! music & see if music from approximately that era sounds good; (i think y! jukebox is the only way to sample it)

dont marry me-jodi long; i find this kinda comedic, thats why i like it

im approximating that era to be around maybe when our parents were kids or when our grandparents were young adults(dont think when they were kids)

BTW, this aint the only OLD song i like, there are others out there;

unchained melody-the righteous bros.

dont get me wrong, i DO like some of the newest stuff out there made for todays generation, i just happen to like a really big mix. sometimes i just need to hear something from "way back when". i go crazy if i cant hear old stuff to.

the only kind i loathe are the kind where black-maybe old-guys are singing that stuff that sounds like jazz/blues or whatever it is they sing. thats 1 kind of "old" i cant stand.

If you listen to the Andrew Sisters you can hear a rock and roll influence in there.
They sang Boogie Woogie music.

All you need to do for some of their songs to turn them into rock is substitute the trumpet player for an electric guitar.

Listen to Boogie Woogie Bugal Boy or Four Back Beat
I think another is Huckle Buck.

Good stuff it moves like rock and roll does but it is way before rock and roll existed.

I listen to a lot of "old" stuff from Robert johnson, Ma Rainey, Jimmy Reed, old 20's jazz, the complete works. I know a couple of other people who do so we're not alone.

I listen to robert johnson... from the 30s. well since you don't like that, i listen to classic rock, i.e. zeppelin, cream, floyd, hendrix, dire straits. but i am 17 and i hate the mainstream
