Find the number that is 4/5 of the way from -3 4/5 to 4 1/5

Can someone please explain and give the answer to this problem?

1/5 = .2; 4/5 = .8; 3/5=.6
4.2 + 3.8 = 8
.8 * 8 = 6.4
so you want the point 6.4 away from -3.8 this is 2.6 or 2 3/5,
the point 2.6 is 1.6 distance away from 4 1/5 and 6 2/5 distance away from -3 4/5. hence (1 3/5 )/8 = .2 or 1/5 and (6 2/5)/8 is .8 or 4/5

4 1/5 - (- 3 4/5)
= 4 1/5 + 3 4/5
= 8

4 / 5 x 8 = 6 2/5
- 3 4/5 + 6 2/5 = 2 3/5
