I have a DELL INSPIRON 9300 and the 3 key popped off. I have looked this up online and what they are telling me is that there are little white plastic things that I am supposed to snap in place. However, for some reason this key only has the black key piece, and under it a little green squishy thing that I can press to type 3. There are no loose plastic pieces. If someone could help me out with a step by step guide or something, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you all for your answers (except for the one that said DELL sucks), but I don't think you guys read it correctly. There are NO white plastic pieces, and it is NOT possible to snap them back together. When I try it doesn't snap, it just sits there and will not stay.

Take another key button out to see any white pin under it.
If the popped-off key buttons missed the pins but PC is functional when typing over the green rubbers, then using super glue to hold the key buttons.

You can ask Dell if they'll replace it for you.
