I have to buy sunscreen for a trip to the carribean and the local drugstore has Huggies babies spf 50 sunscreen on clearance at half the price of the cheapest regular sunscreen..... Is this ok for an adult to use?...... Would I suddenly become incontenent and start sucking my thumb or chasing the topless european women around the beach crying "Mama"?......Really, what is the difference?

Childrens sunscreen has a higher SPF so it's actually better than an adult cream

I use baby sunscreen and I am fine. It is greasier though. And thicker. I like it more because it doesn't go clear right away, so you can see where you need more. Plus my whole family is fair skinned, and living in Florida. Not a good combo!

I can't guarantee none of the side effects mentioned, nonetheless, the difference is that children's is made for sensitive skin and supposedly less likelihood of stinging if it drips in your eyes (like baby shampoo).

Adults can use 'children's': but children advisedly not to use 'adult's sunscreen, which may be too strong for their tender skin!
