Mine was The Jackson Five's "ABC". I was 9 years old. It cost me 50 cents. And it was still a popular song on the radio.

Mine was one of three and maybe I bought all three at the same time. They were:
"Daydream Believer" -- The Monkees
"It's Getting Better" -- Mama Cass
"All I have To Do Is Dream" -- Glen Campbell + Bobby Gentry

The first one I bought was a Monkees 45. "I'm a Believer" I think it was. Cost less than a dollar, I think. My ex husband is a record collector so I gave them to him when we separated.

(I was 12 when I bought the record.)
