try hitting Fn + F11 to Lock your keyboard.
It also serve as self-destruct button, when pushed 3 times rapidly. but don't do it! you won't like what will happen.
Hope it helps!
err.. the Fn + F11 was no joke. I use a keyboard with that same key on it. Very useful for me as I clean the keyboard while the PC is operating ^_^

Picture's not good enough to read the text on it.
I suspect it's a Fn button to enable "extended features" on other keys.
Did they keyboard come with a manual (might be on the CD with the software) that might tell you, or edit question with details of text on the key

Sorry, can't read the writing on it. What does it say and since it's a new keyboard, what does the user guide say it does? It could simply be a user definable macro key.

is that the Escape button?
i think what it does at any give moment changes depending on what you're doing and what windows you have open
like if you have a video or something taking up your whole screen, pushing Esc will minimize it (a lot of times)

Its sum button from a proprietary computer. You would have to look up that keyboard and system..... Ignore it... Its not the esc.
