They will just skip the Pats in the draft order for the first round and everyone behind will move up a slot--just for that round.

But if there's any justice in the world, someone should suggest it goes to the Jets (if they can prove thier case).

The pick is just being taken away. They are not giving the pick to anyone it is simply being eliminated.

My thoughts are the pick should be given to the jets (the team effected).

My problem with the pick simply being taken is that now you are not just punishing the pats, but now you are punishing a potential player from college because there is now one less pick that can be used on a possible flyer. You are essentially eliminating an opportunity for a potential player.

Nobody, the league just eliminates it and the Pats get skipped in the 1st round.

lets remember the pats have 2 1st round picks they are only losing one witch happens to just be eliminated

No one, they just lose it. They weren't really caught for just the Jets situation, they were also caught last year by the Packers, its just the Jets made a bigger deal about it!
