I hope people realize that this question was asked simply due to the irony of the Schneider situation and not to find out where Scott actually is.

Scott needs to pull his head out of his *ahem* ..man up..and play, or announce retirement. If he doesn't, the C should be taken from him and given to someone much more deserving. The team and fans have waited long enough for him to decide. I'm sick of this ****.
fyi flaming bichon he's thinking about pursuing a career as a doctor. His dad is a doc.

Still deciding if he wants to play or not. That's a bummer to be without Schneider, though. The start of the season might be a little rough, but we'll see. The Ducks have such depth that I don't expect them to get killed or anything. Scott and Teemu need to decide what they are going to do, though. Having them waffling like they are must be a distraction to the rest of the team.

Jenni and Zap- I don't know if we should jump to conclusions with Scott. Maybe we don't know the true scenario, I have maintained all along that I thought that Scott went to Burke and said I am retiring and Burke didn't accept that so he told him to hold off, wouldn't be his fault. I have nothing to base that on, just a hunch. Also, maybe there is something else we don't see-wife has an illness or something and he/she wants to keep it private. Again, nothing to base it on but I don't want to jump to conclusions.
As for Schneider, I hate to see anyone get hurt but as you know, DiPenta is my family and there is talk that Joe could be starting the year in the minors because they are high on this Russian kid. This should ensure that Joey gets to start the year with the big club. Selfish I know, but frankly my darling, I don't give a damn.

Oh wow, that's really bad news for the Ducks. If Selanne and Niedermayer don't return, and with Schneider out for the start of the season, they will lose valuable points. The Sharks will definitely get a stranglehold on the division then.

Amen, Jenni. I got poo-poo'd for making a similar observation a few weeks back, but the guy's got to make a move.
The team has enough pressure on it to remain focused and hungry without a daily soap opera surrounding it. The Schneider injury just intensifies the plot line.

Probably hiding out with Waldo somewhere.
Give him more than a few hours, dude. I doubt he would've jumped right out of contemplation because Schneider got hurt.
As for Kane, I highly doubt you know anything beyond your ego with the way you communicate with people.

I heard that the reason he is holding out is because he doesn't want to make the trip to London. What a pu$$y
