I used to LOVE Alice Cooper when he first came on the scene...(don't hate me for the date!) Alice Cooper goes to Hell! Rock on!

Love Alice Cooper. He was my first concert. My babysitter took me to see him. I saw the Billion Dollar Babies tour. I think it was like 1974 or so.

Yes I love him. He was the very first dude to use heavy makeup. All the others copied him, like Kiss, or Ozzy Osbourne. He was the VERY first to have that type of persona, the makeup, the total "go to hell" type of songs.
His song "School's Out" is a classic.
Even Marilyn Manson is a copycat of him, even down to having a girl's name.
Give him the credit he deserves. He started a lot of copycats. He was the first of his kind.

I wish I could've seen him live when he did the really theatrical shows. His longevity is matched only by Dio. While I'm a fan I still haven't heard all his songs, aside from the popular ones.
