I beieve that dancing is a way to express yourself, and it all depends on how you do it. Ballet has gotten alot better, and i think harder than like some old stuff i've had 2 watch! But i also do hip hop, and there's alot involved in that to. But the quality hasnt gone down in my perspective!

Actually, I believe it's quite the opposite - dancing quality improved over the years. I think it's better to compare things than can be compared. Compare good ballet 100 year ago to good ballet now... I really do believe it got much more impressive. Or Blackpool ballroom competition 40 years ago to Blackpool now.
As for street dancing - I think we're just having a particulalry ugly fashion. Was it Oscar Wilde who said that "Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months."
Bad dance classes have always existed and will never sease to exist. It takes good tase to evaluate the quality of a dance class, but not too many people got it. This is how bad dance intructors keep getting paid.
