YES but BIOS will just synchronize the speed to that of the slowest, which is 333mhz in this case.

No - not normally. You could stick ALL DDR 400 in your machine and if the motherboard runs at 333 - most of the time it will step down to 333. Mixing will not work.

You can. The 400 will clock itself down to the 333 speed. So, in essence, you're paying for more than you get. Although, if the price is right, and/or you don't have 333 available, then go ahead and grab it.

DDR 400 should slow itself down to match the speed of the DDR333. A lot will depend on the motherboard - but I have not seen a motherboard yet which will not allow this to happen.
Worst case scenario you may need to go into the BIOS and set the speed of the ram manually to DDR333 -- but even that shouldn't be too difficult to do.

You can combine both 333 and 400 but going to get different speed, so best to put DDR 400 becuz its faster.

It depends on your computer, but in most cases yes. However, with RAM, often times the faster chip will clock down to run at the same speed of the slower chip, basically giving you two 333 chips.

No Probs Dude.

You can Combine. I am telling you this Coz I had worked as a Computer Technician before. I had done this kind of combination and everything went well.

If you are a computer enthusiast and want to sqeeze the last drop from your computer you do not do this combination.

Because of the speed difference computer cannot work with optimal performance.

But it will still work with good performance.
