& they think that just because I'm 24 with a college degree, I'm supposed to know EVERYTHING or else I'm stupid & naive. Isn't 24 too old to be naive? & what can I do to make myself more sophisticated & worldly?

There is nothing wrong with being inquisitive. How else are you supposed to learn?

I think its not your fault. I think thats why they have things like yahoo answers so that maybe somehow you can learn what you need to know for life without being embarrassed.
